Our Story

General Description: Potters is a rock band based in the Philippines

 Friendship reunited by music.Potters were college buddies from a University that never sleeps. Some of them were best of friends (Erick , Cyrel and Junrel) while some were acquaintances. They met in the same way when the stars enlightened their souls to pursue music.

 2011, Potters was originally named as LOREM IPSUM with members Erick, Kersly, Cyrl, Junrel and Ceman. Lorem Ipsum was a fail rock band so they ended after several months. for 1 year all members were busy with their lives and some of them stopped their main passion.

 Late 2012, The band reunited again because Kersly was very pushy with her dream as a musician. Again with bandmates Cyrel and Ceman, they created Berry MUFFIN with Pop as genre. Well as expected, they failed again. Perhaps because of the busy schedules and most boys don't like POP music.

 Late 2013, Kersly Potter decided to pursue her goal as a solo artist. So she used Ukulele and created music passionately on her own. That time she was very busy with her first solo album and she joined Ukulele Cebu. Ukulele Cebu inspired her to do more! to create music!! so she was driven by these people thats why her path as a solo artist was somehow a success and it all started again..

 2014, So Kersly was hype with some gigs because of 22tango, she then reunited the band to help her with the embarassment hahaha. Erick, Cyrel, Ceman and Junrel were Kersly's backup band at that moment. The band remained unnamed because they just wanted to play.

 Mid 2014, After some gigs with Kersly, the band received few invitations from various remarkable people in the field of social media (YTV Cebu, Buena Mano etc.). So Kersly decided to officially reunite the band and named it after her last screen name w/c is POTTER...so POTTERS was formed yehey!!!! They did few guestings in YTV Cebu and Buena Mano Balita as POTTERS. They decided to continue the FOLK music by that time and they were so active. It was like the peak of their careers.

 super late 2014, Folk music was nice and fun but hence, most of the members were not that blissful when it comes to that genre. So they brain stormed and experimented some music but then they were still in doubt. Eagerness and Enthusiasm was lost to some members. Ceman was a very talented guitar/Piano player/Composer/Singer but because of his busy schedule he somehow was out of the group and that was so sad. Well bandmates do come and go. And that era was so BORING. Maybe because not all can achieve happiness to that genre and also without Ceman, Potters were out of the blue. Still they continue as a band without realizing what their GENRE is.

 2015 the band met Junrel's old bandmate Ian. Ian is a talented kiddo. He is the youngest among the group. He knows drums, guitar, piano and bass! He is such a good bass player. Potters decided to recruit him in replacement of Ceman. All was enlightened when he came. Because of him the band is not limited to some music because he knows how to bass it!!! All was in good shape especially when Junrel and Ian broadly introduced Red Hot Chili Peppers and other influential bands. All was inspired again and now they are quite sure of their energies!! Potters has some original compositions with the feels of funk rock and they are so excited to publish it the soonest. As of now, they are busy with song writing for their EP album. YEAAAAAAH!!!!
